Biju defended his PhD thesis on Indian frogs in September 2007 at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He continues his research in the Amphibian Evolution Lab as a visiting scientist. Biju is currently an associate professor at the University of Delhi and leads a research group working on diversification of Indian amphibians. His research integrates molecular phylogenies with morphology and ethology. You can learn more about his present research here.
